Job Description

AWE is currently seeking experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanics for multiple opportunities across QLD. We have positions available for both rostered site-based maintenance roles and field service technicians supporting mining operations.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting rebuilds and component change-outs.
  • Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
  • performing preventative and breakdown maintenance on mining equipment.
  • Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing air conditioning systems on mobile plant.

To be considered, you must hold the following:
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience with mining & heavy equipment.
  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Heavy Diesel / Mobile Plant).
  • Ability to pass full pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screening.
