S&S Heavy Haulage are seeking qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to work at our Mackay workshop. What does the job look like? 
An exciting opportunity is available for full time experienced heavy vehicle mechanics to join our team located in Mackay. Our fleet is expanding with new Kenworth trucks and Drake trailing equipment arriving, therefore S&S are seeking trade qualified mechanics to carry out ground up rebuilds on our Kenworth trucks and existing trailing fleet. 

 

Key areas: 

  • Mechanical trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic is essential 
  • Full chassis truck overhauls (inhouse) Kenworth experience preferred
  • Preventative maintenance including diagnostics 
  • Must pride yourself on quality of work 
  • Must be a team player and understand the importance of safety, quality and compliance

  • Mechanical trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic is essential

  • Proven experience in heavy vehicle overhauls 
  • Previous fleet and/or trailer maintenance and servicing experience is highly desired
