Harness Energy is seeking qualified High-Risk Trainers & Assessors to deliver accredited training and assessment for one or more of the following:
  • o Dogging
  • o Elevating Work Platform (EWP) – Over 11mtrs
  • o Forklift
  • o Gantry Crane
  • o Mobile Slewing Crane Up to 100 tonne - CO
  • o Mobile Non-Slewing Crane - CN
  • o Rigging – Basic, Intermediate & Advanced
  • o Scaffolding – Basic, Intermediate & Advanced
  • o Vehicle Loading Crane

About Us
Harness Energy is a nationally recognised Registered Training Organisation (RTO) specialising in high-risk work training for the mining, oil & gas, construction, and infrastructure sectors. We are expanding our team across Queensland and are seeking qualified and experienced trainers to deliver high-risk work licensing courses.
  
The Role
As a High-Risk Trainer & Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering accredited training and assessment for students looking to obtain high-risk work licenses at our Harness Training Facilities located in Gladstone, Toowoomba or Chinchilla and on client sites. Your expertise will ensure our students are industry-ready, compliant, and capable of working safely in high-risk environments.
  
What You Need
  • Current QLD State Based High-Risk Work Trainer & Assessor License in one or more of the areas listed above
  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or TAE40116 with upgrade)
  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience in high-risk operations
  • Strong communication and training delivery skills
  • The ability to engage learners of all backgrounds
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with ASQA and industry training standards
  • Engaging and mentoring students with real-world insights
  • Conducting practical and theory-based assessments
  • Optimising courseware to ensure they meets & exceeds industry expectations and standards
  • Maintaining accurate training records
