High Voltage Electrician

Joyce Mechanical Services is seeking experienced High Voltage Electricians to join our team onsite supporting a major mining operation in the Southern Bowen Basin. This role is focused on supporting a large fleet of Komatsu electric drive haul trucks, ensuring their safe and reliable operation. It’s a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a dedicated team on a long-term contract and contribute to the success of a critical fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on heavy mining equipment with a focus on high voltage systems

• Conduct inspections, testing, and servicing in line with site requirements and standards

• Support planned and unplanned maintenance activities to ensure asset reliability

• Adhere to site and company safety, environmental, and quality procedures

About You:

• High Voltage Electrical qualification (QLD Electrical Licence)

• Current HV Switching ticket (or willingness to obtain)

• Experience with Komatsu 830E and/or 930E haul trucks highly regarded

• Sound understanding of mining industry safety requirements and standards

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
