We are recruiting for a driven Highly Skilled Sheetmetal / Fabricator to join our workshop in Mackay.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Performing light to medium fabrication tasks for new components.
  • Conducting general fabrication and welding tasks, utilizing techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Flux Core.
  • Fabricating new OEM Underground Equipment.
  • The ability to interpret and work to technical drawings.
  • High level of attention to detail and workmanship.
  • Stainless steel TIG welding experience is a necessity.
  • 50 hours per week.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Driver’s licence (required).
  • Australian recognised trade certificate in welding/fabrication.
  • High risk tickets - doggers, forklift, or gantry (highly regarded).
  • Ability to work efficiently independently and within a team environment. 
  • A strong commitment to safety, continual improvement, and Company policies and procedures.
