Gladstone Region Aboriginal and Islander Community Controlled Health Service Limited (“GRAICCHS”) trading as Nhulundu Health Service is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service operating in Gladstone and the greater Central Queensland Region delivering a comprehensive range of primary health care, aged care and community support service functions.


The Aged Care team coordinates and provides in home care and out of home day activity services to all eligible clients within the community as a whole in the Gladstone Region. The Team will work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People, local community and relevant key stakeholders to provide a coordinated comprehensive consumer directed care service with a focus on assisting the elderly receive quality in house care and increased access to care and health services as required.

You will provide assistance to our clients that will help them to stay in their home longer.  This may include tasks such as shopping, meal preparation, cleaning, personal care as per their care plans and documentation of their progress.   

  • Our Aged Care Team locally coordinates and provides in home care and out of home day activity services to eligible clients in the Gladstone & Rockhampton region.
  • All training supplied to assist you to learn the role, including Buddy Shifts
  • Professional support and management to assist you to develop and grow your skills
  • All travel time and KM’s to and with our clients are paid.

  • Valid Drivers Licence 
  • Full comprehensive insurance
  • Current Blue Card or willingness to apply for same
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR certifications or willingness to update or obtain the necessary certifications
  • Physical ability to perform tasks as required
  • Certificate III in Community Services, Aged Care or Disability services/or willing to obtain
  • Federal Police Check
