About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail‑focused Housekeeper to deliver high‑quality cleaning, hygiene and laundry services across our residential communities. This role ensures our residents enjoy a clean, safe and welcoming environment every day, while contributing to Sundale’s values‑driven culture. Work across morning shifts from Monday to Saturday. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across resident rooms, communal spaces and service areas
  • Follow infection‑control procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
  • Operate cleaning equipment safely and maintain equipment in good working order
  • Monitor and restock cleaning supplies
  • Respond to resident requests with warmth, empathy and respect
  • Assist with routine audits, compliance activities and continuous improvement
  • Report maintenance issues promptly
  • Support laundry services including sorting, washing, drying, folding and returning items
  • Handle soiled linen according to infection‑control standards
  • Keep laundry and cleaning storage areas clean, organised and compliant

What We’re Looking For:

  • Warm, people‑focused approach with pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces
  • Experience in housekeeping, hospitality or aged‑care environments (desirable)
  • Strong time‑management skills and the ability to work independently
  • Reliable, proactive and committed to supporting the wellbeing of residents
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Understanding of aged‑care quality and safety requirements (or willingness to learn)
