Housekeeper

Busy household requires a daily housekeeper approximately 6 hours per day. This position is Monday to Friday and we can accomodate school hours . The position is flexible with allowance for days off for various reasons eg. appointments, sports carnivals for children etc. It is a casual position paying $35.00/hr. No weekends are required. Hours can be eg. 8.30-2.30 or 9.00 - 3.00 with some flexibility in this. Due to a recent extension on the home longer hours can be accommodated if this is preferred. The position includes general running of the household,  cleaning, laundry , ironing and running of errands eg. grocery shopping or collection of dry cleaning. Must have a current driver's license and own car.  Some dinner preparation may be required on some days and if you can cook a meal this would be a distinct advantage. The ideal candidate should be relatively fit as the house is large and is spread  over a large area . There are a few staircases   and sometimes getting up on a ladder is required eg. to clean fans as the ceilings are high. You will be working along side a part time cleaner who also works at the home.  The position doesn't require someone for at least two weeks over the Christmas period so they will always have Christmas off.
