About the role

Nortrans' is seeking an experienced HR Driver to join our team in Mackay, Queensland. As a HR Driver, you will play a crucial role in our full-time road transport operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of gas cylinders across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

1. Safely operating heavy vehicles to transport gas cylinders across regional routes

2. Adhering to all relevant road rules, safety regulations and company policies

3. Performing daily vehicle Pre and post inspections

4. Maintaining accurate logbooks and records of deliveries

5. Providing excellent customer service to clients

What we're looking for

1. Valid HR driver's licence with a clean driving record

2. Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar heavy vehicle driving role

3. Strong knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices

4. Excellent time management and organisational skills

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

6. Commitment to providing high-quality customer service

7. Good physical fitness to handle the demands of the role
