We are seeking a HV Electrician to assist us to maintain our fleet at Dawson Mine located at the Bowen Basin in regional Queensland.

Your new role
  • Be involved with all areas of machine maintenance, including fault finding and troubleshooting (reading and interpreting schematics) and Electrical diagnostics
  • Ensure planned repairs are executed within time and cost requirements
  • Be committed to procedure based preventative maintenance
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work within teams to develop and implement solutions
  • Be self-motivated and able to work as directed
  • Be flexible with work hours, with the ability to work day and night shifts
What you'll need to succeed
  • A Cert III in Electrical Fitting or equivalent
  • HV Switching 
  • Prior experience working on electric drive mobile plant highly regarded 
  • Current Queensland Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
  • A current Queensland driver licence
