Mackellar are the mining services contractor for Bravus’ Carmichael Mine and together we are creating jobs and opportunities for regional Queensland.

Your new role
  • Supervise the maintenance and development of mine site infrastructure, including roads, buildings, and water
  • Coordinate and manage contractors and internal teams to ensure infrastructure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans for site infrastructure
  • Monitor and report on infrastructure conditions, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure infrastructure supports operational needs
  • Manage procurement and inventory of materials required for infrastructure maintenance and upgrades
What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous experience in infrastructure supervision, preferably within the mining industry
  • Strong understanding of mine site infrastructure requirements, including roads, drainage, utilities, and accommodation facilities
  • Demonstrated experience in contractor management and project coordination
  • Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations in Queensland mining operations
  • Current Mining Supervisor G1, G8, G9 (formerly S1, S2, S3)
  • Current Carry out the Risk Management Process G2
  • High focus and demonstrated success in maintaining an excellent safety record for teams
  • Competency using Microsoft Office Suite
