Location: Rockhampton, Queensland (flexible arrangements available depending on candidate)

The Role
We are seeking a Junior Family Lawyer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed lawyer to develop their career in family law. You will work closely with senior practitioners and receive hands-on training in managing a wide variety of matters, including:

  • Property settlements and financial matters

  • Parenting disputes and arrangements

  • Domestic violence matters

  • Divorce applications

  • Binding Financial Agreements and Child Support Agreements

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the management of family law matters

  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence

  • Attending court appearances, mediations and conferences

  • Providing advice to clients under supervision

  • Developing strong client relationships

About You

  • Admitted as a solicitor in Queensland with a current practising certificate

  • 0–5 years' post-admission experience

  • Family law experience desirable but not essential (training provided)

  • Strong communication, drafting and organisational skills

  • Enthusiastic, proactive and eager to learn
