POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

🔹 Junior Accountant – Perfect for recent graduates or those with 1-2 years of experience looking to build their skills.
🔹 Intermediate Accountant – Ideal for accountants with 3-5 years of experience who are ready to take on more responsibility.
🔹 Senior Accountant – Suited for experienced professionals (5+ years) who can lead projects, mentor junior staff, and provide expert financial insights.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As part of our accounting team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality financial services to our clients. Depending on your experience level, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, from preparing financial statements to providing strategic and tax planning advice. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your skills and expertise will be valued and developed.

We offer flexible work arrangements and a chance to progress within the company while working on a wide portfolio of clients with a mix of tax & business service clients.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Prepare financial statements, tax returns and tax plans for a wide range of individual and business clients
  • Prepare Business Activity Statements and periodic operational reviews
  • Liaising with the ATO
  • Prepare additional statutory reporting requirements, including payroll tax and WorkCover
  • The creation and implementation of business cash flow, tax planning, forecasting and other various value-add reporting material
  • Mentoring cadets and trainees
  • Direct access to a partner at the firm

 

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:

Our ideal candidates will have:

  • Business services and taxation experience
  • Sound knowledge of accounting, financial and business principles and procedures
  • Completed or studying towards a Bachelor of Accounting or equivalent or currently studying towards or recently attained CA/CPA qualifications
  • Organisation and time management skills
  • Strong teamwork skills, with experience working towards team goals and KPIs
  • Proficiency in MYOB, Xero & Quickbooks accounting software would be beneficial.
