We are opening a 3rd clinic and our growing team needs a new Medical Receptionist!
Paul Hopkins Medical is seeking a new employee for a traineeship position (Certificate 3 in Business Admin - Medical), applicants must have a positive personality, great customer service skills and a drive to learn in a fast paced environment.
Full time position available, no weekend or public holiday work.
Requirements:
(no experience in a reception position required, but will be acceptable)
- fantastic customer service skills and telephone manner
- needs to be able to multitask
- positive attitude and team player
- ability to pick up new computer systems very quickly
This role is very diverse - it's not your typical receptionist job. A GP receptionist is an integral part of running the medical centre:
- Creating and managing patient bookings,
- Record keeping and digital filing,
- Handling multiple incoming calls at one time,
- Medicare billing and knowledge of their rules and regulations,
- Assisting doctors and nurses with their busy schedules,
- Infection control procedures
- Patient triage
- + a whole lot more!
