Leading Hand Fitter – Farleigh Mill
About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will have responsibility for supervision of a site workgroup as well as providing practical assistance in the delivery of efficient and effective maintenance. You will be a key member of the maintenance team, ensuring strict adherence to safety and environmental policies and procedures.
As a minimum you will:
- Hold relevant engineering trade qualifications;
- Have a minimum of three (3) years post trade experience;
- Have strong, well developed interpersonal communication skills,
- Have the capability to lead the maintenance of boiler plant, steam turbines and materials handling equipment;
- Have specific experience and knowledge of typical maintenance practices in boiler plant, auxiliary boiler plant and turbines;
- Have basic computer skills;
- Have the capability to work within and provide leadership to a work team; and
- A dedicated commitment to safety in the workplace
