We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Secretary/Paralegal to join our Practice and support a team of busy legal professionals.

The Position: We are looking for a Legal Secretary/Paralegal to join our dynamic team, which includes administration staff and paralegals supervised by our Directors.   This position offers a blend of responsibilities, allowing you to engage with a variety of areas of law, including commercial, business, and family law. You’ll have the opportunity to broaden your skills and gain valuable experience in a supportive environment. While previous experience in legal or administration would be beneficial, it is not essential.  Full training will be provided, and your core responsibilities will include:

  • typing, photocopying, scanning and collating materials;
  • drafting legal documents and correspondence;
  • liaising with clients and legal professionals;
  • file and diary management;
  • email management;
  • preparing bills; and
  • providing general administrative assistance to the team.

  • above-average literacy and numeracy skills;
  • fast and accurate typing abilities;
  • a keen eye for detail;
  • excellent organisational skills;
  • great communication skills;
  • the ability to think on your feet;
  • proficient word processing skills (minimum 40 words per minute); and
  • a talent for meeting deadlines and prioritizing a busy workload.

This role is suitable for individuals with prior work experience in legal, administration, and/or customer service.
