About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our growing workshop. This role involves machining precision components using CNC and/or manual machines, working from drawings, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings

  • Measure and inspect components to tight tolerances

  • Maintain machines and keep a clean, safe work area

  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or milling machines

  • Perform basic programming and tool offsets (preferred)

Skills & Experience

  • Trade qualification in Machining or equivalent experience

  • Manual machining experience

  • Experience with CNC lathes and/or mills Not required

  • Strong understanding of machining principles and tolerances

  • Ability to use measuring equipment (micrometres, verniers, gauges)

  • Tig welding

  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
