Job Description

GB Industries is a leading electrical contracting company servicing mining, and ports throughout Mackay and the Bowen Basin. Due to continued success, we are seeking Trade Qualified Electricians wanting:

These are NOT FIFO roles, Mackay & District locals ONLY will be shortlisted.  

You need:

  • QLD Electrical License
  • QLD Driver's License
  • LVR / CPR Certificate
  • Construction Card

We'd like:

  • Current Coal Board Medical
  • Standard 11
  • Working at Heights & HRWL WP qualification
  • MSIC Card

About You

To be eligible for this role you will be required to:

  • Live within a maximum of 1 hour driving distance to the GB workshop in Paget. 
  • Experienced working in an industrial or mining environment
  • Industrial PLC and Control Wiring experience
  • Instrumentation Systems experience
  • High commitment to Safety
  • Sound problem solving skills
  • Be motivated and self starting

Successful candidates may be required to undergo a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening.
