We’re looking for an experienced Leading Hand Diesel Fitter to help drive workshop performance, support the crew on shift, and keep equipment availability high across site operations.

The Role
  • Lead and coordinate a crew of maintenance personnel on shift
  • Carry out diagnostics, servicing and repairs on heavy mining equipment
  • Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance on site
  • Assist with planning, job allocation and shift handovers
  • Support continuous improvement across maintenance activities
  • Work closely with supervisors and production teams to minimise downtime
About You
  • Trade qualified Diesel Fitter / Plant Mechanic
  • Previous experience in a Leading Hand or supervisory role within mining
  • Strong knowledge of heavy mobile equipment maintenance
  • Confident leading crews in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Solid troubleshooting and fault-finding capability
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Standard 11 and S1,2,3 or G1,8,9 (or willingness to obtain)
