About the role

City Slickers Home Maintenance is seeking a skilled and reliable maintenance professional to join our team on a casual or full time basis. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing general maintenance and handyperson services to our properties in the Rockhampton and surrounding areas.

What you'll be doing

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties, including minor plumbing, painting, and carpentry work
• Inspect properties regularly to identify and address any maintenance issues
• Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and work orders
• Maintain a high level of workmanship and attention to detail
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
• Collaborate with the property management team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of our properties

What we're looking for

• Experience in general maintenance and handyperson services, preferably in the real estate or property management industry
• Strong practical skills in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
• Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team
• A valid driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle
