What would I be doing?

As a Marketing & Business Development Officer, you will play a crucial role in expanding our network of employer partners and driving employment outcomes for people with disabilities across the Gladstone area. Your responsibilities would fall into these 3 categories:

Business Development and Partnerships

  • Proactively source and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other prospecting techniques.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, understanding their specific hiring needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Negotiate wage subsidy agreements with employers.

 Client Engagement and Support

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing tailored support to help them achieve their career goals.
  • Assist clients in transitioning into stable employment, collaborating with the Client Coordinator and Support Officer.
  • Communicate employment opportunities to local employment services staff and job-seeking clients.

 Marketing and Employer Engagement

  • Develop, document, and implement effective marketing strategies to generate appropriate employment opportunities for clients.
  • Identify and present innovative marketing ideas and concepts to attract new employers and increase employment opportunities.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of the current labour market conditions and vacancy requirements.

 To be successful, you will require a valid C class driving license as well as a Blue card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance to start (we can help).
