Workfast is looking for MC / Dangerous Goods Line haul Driver join our Specialised Dangerous Goods Transport Team in Gladstone, QLD

We are actively seeking dedicated MC / Dangerous Goods Line haul Driver join our Specialised Dangerous Goods Transport Team. You will be part of a motivated crew working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly and safely.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Operating MC vehicles, from B-Doubles up to A-B Triple combinations.
  • Transport Ammonium Nitrate Prill, Ammonium Nitrate Emulsion and other Specialised Dangerous Goods from our customers manufacturing plants to their onsite storage facilities across various mine sites.
  • Championing safe work practices and complying with all aspects of the regulated transportation of Security Sensitive DG's.
  • Ensuring the compliance of vehicles, you will be operating.
  • Loading and unloading in a safe, secure, and timely manner; ensuring all paperwork is accurate.
  • Present a professional image at work regarding personal and vehicle presentation.
What You Bring to the Team:
  • MC Australian Driver’s Licence and full working rights.
  •  DG Licence; Queensland Explosives Security Clearance (QESC) and Explosives Drivers Licence (EDL) highly desirable.
  • 5+ Prior experience in a Similar role or driving heavy vehicles. 
  • Ability to pass pre employment medical & drug and alcohol test. 
  • Professionalism and a commitment to team collaboration and workplace safety.
