About the Company
Our client is a privately owned logistics business specialising in the transport of quarry products across Far North QLD. With a secure pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced MC Truck Driver to join their team in a long-term role, with the potential to move into a full-time permanent position for the right person.
The Role
This is a primary driver position responsible for transporting quarry production materials to and from local sites.
You’ll be operating a 2011 Mack Truck (500HP, Auto with manual override) with quad trailer, with full responsibility for keeping the vehicle clean, safe, and well maintained. For convenience, there is the option to take the truck home each night (if suitable parking is available) or leave it locally in designated parking.
Day-to-day hours are generally 6:30am – 4:00/5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with the occasional overnight trip required during peak periods.
What You’ll Need
✔ MC Truck Licence with 3+ years experience on MC (Quad Trailer) vehicles
✔ Strong safety focus and ability to meet delivery schedules
✔ Flexibility to work overtime and occasional overnight runs
✔ Experience in quarry haulage highly regarded
✔ White Card (ideal, not essential)
✔ Commitment to general housekeeping to ensure truck and trailers are kept in top condition
