The Job:

We currently have exciting opportunities for Mechanical Fitters to join our QLD Maintenance team.

We are seeking Mechanical Fitters for the Yarwun Digestion Shutdown in Gladstone.

  • Rio Tinto Yarwun - Gladstone
  • Roster: 13 days on, 2 days off or 7 nights on, 1 day off
  • Local to Gladstone, DIDO or flights from Brisbane - accommodation & meals supplied
  • Work front: Digestion units

Commencing ASAP - 15/09/2024.

 

Requirements:

  • Trade certificate
  • Working at heights (within 2 years)
  • Confined space (within 2 years)
  • Construction/ white/ blue card
  • 3 Site Medi-Pass – desirable
  • Rights to work in Australia – passport/ birth cert

 

In return we will offer:

  • Base hourly rate: $55.08 + casual loading = $68.85 + penalties
  • Weekly pay
  • 12-hour shifts
  • We have been awarded the same shutdown commencing early new year.
