Job Title: Medical Receptionist

Key Responsibilities:
As a medical receptionist, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth and friendly operation of our clinic. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting and checking in patients in a warm, professional manner

  • Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records

  • Answering telephone and email enquiries with care and efficiency

  • Managing billing and processing payments

  • Supporting the clinic’s administrative needs across both GP and Occupational Health services

  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude

  • Proficient in computer use and general office software

  • Experienced in medical administration

  • A team player who can also work independently

  • In possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transport

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with Best Practice Software

  • Prior experience in a GP Clinic as a Medical Receptionist or Management role.

  • Knowledge in Medicare, Tyro, PRODA, AGPAL / Accreditation, Hotdocs (preferred but not essential)
