About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join the dynamic team at SMART SCAN- LLOYDS NORTHSIDE CLINIC' in Mount Pleasant, Queensland.
As a Part Time Permanent Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to the practice and its patients.
What you'll be doing
· Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner
· Managing the patient reception area and ensuring it is well-organised and tidy
· Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments efficiently
· Handling patient enquiries and booking requests via phone, email and in-person
· Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and files
· Assisting with billing, invoicing and other administrative tasks as required
· Providing a high level of customer service to ensure a positive patient experience and respect of Privacy Act at all times
What we're looking for
· Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist essential
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients, clinicians and colleagues in a professional and empathetic manner
· Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
· Proficiency in using medical practice management software and other computer applications
· A positive, friendly and customer-focused attitude
· A team player who is willing to contribute to the overall success of the practice
