Our team in our Kawana and Caloundra clinics are on the lookout for a permanent, Full Time Medical Receptionist to join our Imaging teams. Our clinic provides essential imaging services for the local community including MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, CT, Xray, Screening and Bone Density. This will join a team of 12 over the two sites.

As a Medical Receptionist you will be providing support to patients, acting as the first point of contact to ensure a smooth experience for their appointments both in person and over the phone. In addition, you will be responsible for managing the booking of appointments through various systems, records management and working with referring medical practitioners.

This is a Permanent, Full-Time position working 37.5 hours per week across five days. Your hours will be rostered for 7.5 hour days, Monday to Friday between 6am -9pm.

We have multiple clinics in this region, we are looking for candidates who are open to working across our clinics in Kawana and Caloundra. Please note you will be rostered to work across both of these locations.

You will be responsible for all reception duties including:

  • Customer service and care including greeting patients at the front desk, taking, and directing incoming telephone calls
  • Make radiology exam bookings
  • General Clerical Duties
  • Patient record management with exceptional data entry skills
  • Liaising with other receptionist, referring doctors and other medical professionals in a courteous manner
  • Medicare, DVA, Health fund and work cover billing and banking
