We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Mine Services and Projects Supervisor to lead projects across our open cut coal mining team. Reporting to the Mine Services Superintendent, this pivotal role focuses on driving continuous improvement projects, supervising execution and collaborating with cross functional teams to optimise production performance, safety, and cost outcomes. You will also Coordinate and Track the Mining Budget to ensure projects are delivered on time and on cost.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track the Mining Budget - Capital and Operational.
  • Responsible for the execution of projects within the Mining Team, in line with budget approval.
  • Responsible for key pit progression tasks - complying with environmental standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractor stakeholders.
  • Monitor KPIs and project milestones to ensure delivery of measurable results. Update the Mining leadership team on a weekly basis regarding progress of these.
  • Champion safety, environmental, and compliance standards in all improvement work
  • Develop business cases, reports, and presentations to request and execute expenditure for projects.
  • Mentor and guide frontline leaders on change initiatives and best practices

About You

  • Proven strong background in Leadership and Supervision, Project Management and Contract Management.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders from the pit to the boardroom.
  • The drive and energy to be a Coach and Mentor to fellow team members to continuously "bring the best" out of each other.
  • Qualifications in Mining Engineering, Business Improvement, Project Management or similar not required but are desirable.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Be willing to learn, grow and contribute within a high performing team.
