Mine Site Boilermaker

GB Industries is a leading electrical contracting company servicing ports and mines in Mackay and the Bowen Basin.  

We are seeking skilled and experienced Mackay based TQ Boilermakers to join our team working on an 8/6 roster on ongoing maintenance projects in the Bowen Basin.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing on site Boilermaker duties in fabrication, cutting, steel works and welding as directed

• Reading, interpreting and following blueprints and design drawings

• Collaborating with project teams to manage variations and challenges in scope of work

• Maintain strong focus on safety and compliance at all times

 Requirements:

• Trade Qualification (Boilermaker)

• QLD Drivers License

• Proven mine site fabrication and boilermaker experience

• Standard 11 & BMA Core (desirable)

• Current Coal Board Medical

• Working at Heights &  EWP (preferable)

• Commitment to safety and compliance

This position would suit a Central Queensland local as flights are not included. THIS IS A DIDO POSITION - Company vehicle transport from Mackay ONLY
Accommodation and meals supplied whilst on site

Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening.
