What is the opportunity:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Parts & Accessories, Merchadise, Clothing, and accessories staff member to join our team.
This full-time position is responsible for handling all clothing, riding gear, accessories, parts and accessories inquiries for Harley-Davidson and Yamaha motorcycles including farm ATV's, side by sides, road, sport and motocross bikes.
Required experience and what we are looking for:
- Experience in an automotive parts or accessories environment is preferred but not essential
- Motorcycle licence or the ability to obtain.
- Previous retail experience preferred
- High level of attention to detail
- A team player that is personable to fellow staff and customers
- Capability to work independently
- Car licence
- Passionate about motorcycles and enjoys learning and growing within the motorcycle industry
- Availability Saturday mornings as required
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Offer outstanding service to our customers in purchasing of motorcycle parts for road, off-road and custom motorcycles
- Answering parts and accessories enquiries
- Retail spare parts quoting and sales
- Receiving stock orders
- Create daily stock orders
- Follow up back orders
- Monitor and maintain stocked parts
- Assisting the service/workshop with various tasks whether being ordering of parts all the way through to supplying parts for mechanics
- Assisting with annual stocktake
- Identify and interpret parts providing technical advice for customers.
- Work closely with the Service Department to ensure parts are ordered in a timely manner.
- Assist sales team to ensure customer has everything required to build their dream bike.
