NDIS Client Manager - Mackay based

Independent Living Support Association (ILSA) is a non-profit community organisation providing quality support services to people with a disability.

We are seeking a highly experienced, dedicated, values driven Client Manager to join our Mackay team in a full-time capacity.  The candidate we are seeking has experience primarily within the disability sector and can enhance the value and quality of our service.  The successful candidate must be willing to join the on-call rotation (1 week on-call every approximately 6-7 weeks with appropriate remuneration). 

The Client Manager will liaise with our NDIS clients, as well as lead and mentor teams of support workers, to coordinate exceptional quality support.

Key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Engage with Clients and their informal supports;
  • Connect with relevant stakeholders;
  • Link clients to other services where necessary to help support clients’ needs in a holistic manner.
  • Establish effective support worker teams capable of delivering responsive, flexible and appropriate support for clients;
  • Develop and maintain client service schedules and rosters;
  • Supervise supports being provided to clients, monitor support communication notes and respond to any service delivery issue that arise;
  • Capacity to provide on call support on a rotating roster.
