Job Advertisement: NDT Trainee/Technician

Position: NDT Trainee/Technician
Location: Australia, Queensland Mackay and Central Queensland coal fields
Qualified Technician Annual Base Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per annum AUD (depending on qualifications and experience)

M-Test Mackay is a leading provider of non-destructive testing (NDT) services, committed to maintaining the highest industry standards. We are seeking a motivated NDT Trainee/Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent full time position  Monday – Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting non-destructive testing methods including Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT).

  • Support senior technicians in inspection and evaluation processes.

  • Maintain accurate records and reports of inspections and results.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Minium Certified in ISO 9712 for PT and MT.

  • Preferably Certified in ISO 9712 for UT.

Skills and Experience

  • Background in engineering or a related field is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication skills.
