About the Role
To support growth and development within the industry, BHP is offering Traineeships across our BMA Operations. This program provides motivated and passionate individuals the opportunity to learn new skills whilst experiencing life on site. Our Trainees will be equipped with the resources and support needed to establish a fulfilling career within Mining.
In undertaking this 12 month, fixed term traineeship you work as part of a crew in mining operations teams, with on the job industry training and support, whilst completing a nationally recognised qualification .

About You

To be successful in our Traineeship you will have:
- An overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility, and sustainable development.

- Motivation to achieve individual and team goals and objectives
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team alongside a range of diverse individuals.
- Be available to work on a rotational roster that includes night shift
- Live locally to the mine site which you are employed at, or be prepared to relocate at your own cost
About Our Process

From 1 April 2023, ResHealth will be mandatory for the completion of coal mine workers’ health assessments, allowing you to submit, monitor and review the progress of your health assessment in a secure online environment.
