Position: Night-time Security Patrol Guard
Location: CFT Security Mackay, QLD
Shift: Night Shift
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / Casual based on performance with probationary period of 3 months.
Pay Rate: As per the Office of Fair Trading

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Night-time Security Patrol Guard to join our team in Mackay, Queensland. This role involves conducting mobile and/or foot patrols during night hours to ensure the safety and security of client sites. This does require getting in and out of a vehicle multiple times a night in all types of weather.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and random security patrols at various locations

  • Monitor for suspicious activity, trespassing, or security breaches

  • Respond to alarms and incidents promptly and professionally

  • Complete accurate incident and patrol reports

  • Maintain a visible and professional security presence

  • Follow all company procedures and Queensland security regulations

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Current QLD Security Licence (mandatory)

  • Good English communication skills (spoken and written)

  • Strong local knowledge of Mackay and surrounding areas an advantage

  • Ability to work overnight shifts

  • Reliable transport (preferred) and valid driver’s licence a must

  • Physically fit, alert, and dependable

  • Must be available weekends/ public holidays on a set rotational roster.

  • Professional presentation and attitude

  • Ability to pass background checks

  • Ability to work in both a solo and team environment following any directions given by lead patrol as required

  • Have or be able to obtain Working with Children Blue card.
