APPRENTICESHIP INTAKE 2027
NRG Gladstone Operating Services (NRGGOS) is currently seeking to appoint the following apprenticeship career opportunities to commence in January 2027:
The apprentice positions will be employed on a temporary full-time basis for the duration of the applicable training contract and successful completion of the relevant Certificate III. The normal working hours for this position is Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week, on a 9-day fortnight basis.
The successful applicants will receive on and off the job training to develop the skills and knowledge required to successfully complete the trade qualification.
The successful applicant will have:

Electrical Fitter Mechanic Apprenticeship minimum education requirement is applicants have completed or are currently completing year 12.

Boilermaker and Mechanical Fitter & Machining Apprenticeship minimum education requirement is applicants have completed or are currently completing year 10.

The ability to understand general engineering principles and their application.

High level of numerical ability.

Be a great team member with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

A strong focus on working safely, both for yourself and others.

The ability to commit to study requirements and completion of all training in a timely and organised manner.
