What’s the role?
We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Scientist to join our Mackay team on a permanent full-time basis, working within a modern, well-equipped PET/CT site.
This is an outstanding opportunity to expand your PET/CT capability while working alongside an experienced and supportive team. For senior candidates, there is the opportunity to contribute to protocol development and service improvement, supported by the Group Modality Lead and a broader network of Nuclear Medicine professionals.
Working with Siemens Biograph MCT technology, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality imaging services to the region.
Key responsibilities include:
• Performing high-quality PET/CT procedures to produce diagnostic images
• Providing compassionate, patient-centred care with a focus on safety and confidentiality
• Interpreting requests and performing procedures in line with protocols and legislation
• Contributing to continuous improvement and maintaining up-to-date clinical knowledge
• Participating in protocol development and optimisation (senior opportunity)
• Collaborating with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams

• AHPRA registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Radiation Use Licence (or ability to obtain)
