Senior Staff Specialist / Staff Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology - This is your opportunity to step into a rewarding leadership role, providing high-quality, evidence-based care while mentoring junior staff and contributing to service development across a regional health service.
This role involves delivering services across multiple facilities in a networked model, working closely with the Clinical Directors to maintain and improve standards of care across inpatient, outpatient, and rural settings.

Total remuneration up to $483,588 p.a., including:

$210,332 – $266,677 base salary (L18–L27)

The Facility
This position is primarily based at two major regional hospitals, with support to smaller regional and rural centres. The service operates on a network model that ensures consistent, quality care across the region and offers a collaborative environment with a strong focus on safety, teaching, and continuous improvement.
You’ll be supported by experienced multidisciplinary teams and play a key role in service planning, education, clinical governance, and strategic growth in women’s health services.
The Requirements
To be considered, you will need:

MBBS or equivalent and eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia

Fellowship of RANZCOG, or eligibility for registration as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with AHPRA
