Sage Psychology and Assessment is a small, locally own practice in Gladstone with a passion for supporting the mental health of regional and rural communities. We are a growing practice and are excited to be expanding to a multidisciplinary team!

About the role
Core responsibilities of the role will include:

Provide services using evidence-based practice with children, adolescents and adults. We have a large referral base of NDIS participants, and experience in supporting children, adults, and families accessing the NDIS will be a key part of the role.

Work within a multidisciplinary team to complete neurodevelopmental assessments for children and adults.

Create and implement appropriate assessment and intervention plans for clients.

Complete functional capacity assessments and reports.

Collaborate with clients, families, stakeholders, and treating team to provide effective care.

Follow practice policies and procedures, the OTA Code of Ethics, and AHPRA Code of Conduct.
This is an employed part time position with remuneration commensurate with your qualifications, skills and experience. There will be capacity in future to increase to full time hours if desired.

The musts

Bachelor degree (Honours) or Masters in Occupational Therapy.

Knowledge of research, evidence-based theory, and clinical practice.

Experience in administering and scoring various assessments and tests (e.g., MIGDAS, SP-2, BOT-2. Beery VMI), will be highly desired.

Board Approved Supervisor status will be highly desired.

Hold a Working With Children's Check (Employee).

Satisfactory National Police Check.

Current APHRA registration.
-
Medicare Provider Number (or be eligible to apply for one will be highly desired).

C Class Drivers License.
