Occupational Therapist 

 

Activate Health is looking for a passionate occupational therapy New Graduate to join our multidisciplinary team. You will work closely with and be mentored by our experienced Occupational therapist, with a varied caseload for greater experience. 

 

Permanent part-time to Full time position's available within our Rockhampton, Yeppoon, and Emu Park practices. Work closely within a supportive multidisciplinary team and with a passionate management team to develop the clientele and roster that motivates you!

A wide variety of services: 

- NDIS assessments and interventions (all ages from 2-102, multidisciplinary available)

- Commonwealth Home care packages

- Workcover return to work programs (work readiness programs) 

- Work readiness programs for special needs 

- Department of Veteran affairs assessments and interventions

- Medicare referrals (CDM Care Plans)

- Special population programs including Parkinson's, Oncology, Pediatrics, and seniors.

- In practice, home programs, school and community based, and hydrotherapy-based programs offered.

 

New graduate Mentor program:

Feel supported and empowered working closely with our Senior Occupational therapist, including weekly mentoring, shadowing, and preceptorship for new service types and assessments, with a gradual exposure to service difficulty individualised to your progress,

Be spoilt with a professional team of administrators to handle all administration tasks and streamline your day. Along with quality processes, procedures, and referral systems and networks in place. Practice confidently within our purpose-built Allied Health practices complete with professional consult rooms, fully equipped therapy gyms, workplace vehicles, and specialised service specific equipment. 

 

Best practice and continued development:

Activate Health supports professional development and best practice team care with fortnightly Allied Health group meetings, including in-house presentations, group case studies, professional collaboration, and visitor presentations. New graduate you will be closely mentored and supported through our new graduate preceptorship program.
