About Us:

Valley Syndicate is a pineapple farm located in Bungundarra, known for our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. We're seeking a motivated and organised Office Administrator to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview:

As an Office Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our office. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring administrative tasks run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Manage office communications (phone, email, and in-person inquiries)

·       Maintain office supplies and ensure stock levels are managed

·       Prepare and organise documents (grants), reports, and correspondence

·       Process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries

·       Support with data entry, filing, and record keeping

·       Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other administrative tasks

·       Assist Payroll Officer with accounts and invoicing if required

·       Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

·       Assist with HR-related tasks such as onboarding and employee records

·       Help prepare for audits by ensuring all documentation and records are complete, accurate, and accessible.

·       Assist in the creation and regular review of Safe Work Procedures (SWPs).

·       Help identify safety risks and ensure SWPs are up-to-date and compliant with current standards.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

·       Proven experience in office administration or a similar role

·       Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

·       Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

·       High level of attention to detail and organisational skills

·       Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

·       Strong problem-solving skills and initiative

·       Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

·       Positive, friendly, and professional demeanor

Desirable:

·       Willingness to learn farm-specific systems and adapt to seasonal workloads.

·       Interest or experience in agricultural or horticultural operations.
