Haynes are currently seeking an Operations Manager for a valued Client located in Mackay. If you are mechanically minded and enjoy variety within your role - this position is just what you are looking for.

About the Role

  • Managing a small permanent team completing production and administration duties, which expands during peak season
  • Be "hands-on" within the business, including operating Front-End Loaders and Forklifts to complete customer orders
  • Submitting and achieving budgets, branch reporting and offering feedback on local market trends
  • Completing Quality Control and WHS checks in the workplace and making corrections, where needed
  • Accurate data entry in computer programming, including SAP
  • Monday - Friday roster
  • Access to Company vehicle and Incentive Program

About You

  • Previous experience leading a team within a face-paced environment (Experienced Leading Hand or Step-up Supervisors are encouraged to apply)
  • Able to multitask and prioritise according to the workload and current environment
  • Demonstrate a high level of communication skills with customers and senior management
  • Must have Forklift Licence and Front-End Loader ticket and prior experience
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, including Drug & Alcohol testing
  • Permanent Rights to Work in Australia
