EyeQ Optometrists is looking for a casual Relief Optical Assistant or Dispenser for our practice in Mackay, QLD.

EyeQ is known for our high standards of clinical care, with a focus on building lifelong patient relationships. We apply that same approach to our team members.

We are seeking a friendly, people focused Optical Assistant/Dispenser with great customer service to join our team. Work within optometry practices that have strong ties to the local community. Enjoy the flexibility of a casual relief role.

Key Accountability Areas & Related Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient reception service and general practice administration duties to ensure the very best patient experience.
• Assist patients in the selection of spectacles that not only meet their needs/desires, but also look great.
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the practice, including overall presentation and cleanliness.

About you: 

• Optical experience is preferred but not essential
• Willingness to learn and work in a team with a positive can-do attitude
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone
• Great time management skills
• Computer literacy is essential
