Bolsover Dental Practice is a well-established privately-owned clinic with a large and loyal patient base. At our accredited, nine chair practice, we value integrity, mutual respect and a shared commitment to excellence. We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Oral Health Therapist to join our team. As an Oral Health Therapist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health in our community and providing preventative and therapeutic dental. Salary                    $45-$55 per hour (Salary or Commissions negotiable)

Responsibilities 

  • Conduct thorough oral health assessments and collaborate with dentists and other oral health professionals to develop treatment plans for patients
  • Take appropriate records including radiographs, photographs, impressions and digital scans
  • Provide preventative dental care including scaling, fluoride treatments and sealant application
  • Perform dental procedures such as fillings and extractions within your professional scope
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Educate patients regarding oral hygiene, dental diagnoses, treatment options and personalised recommendations
  • Strictly adhere to infection control and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with our team of eleven clinicians to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care and ensure excellent patient outcomes 
  • Continuously stay updated with the latest advancements and techniques in oral health care through ongoing education and training

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Oral Health or equivalent
  • Valid registration with AHPRA in good standing
  • Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a large team
  • Passion for oral health and commitment to providing exceptional patient care
  • A special knack for making our younger patients feel comfortable and at ease
  • Desire to continuously learn and grow in your field
