Painter & Blasters | Mining East

UGL Resources East Division are seeking applications from experienced Painter & Blasters for upcoming casual opportunities for a series of Shutdowns at a Coal Port local to Mackay.

The Shutdowns are continuous from July to November 2024.

This opportunity will see you join a highly experienced team with a reputation for delivery, working together with our customers to develop and provide solutions. 

To be considered for the role, the following are essential: 

  • Previous Experience in Mining Industry
  • Trade Qualified - preferred
  • Construction Industry Induction (White / Blue card)
  • High risk work licence – LF, WP preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great time management skills

You will hold - or be willing to obtain - the following qualifications: 

  • Current Standard 11 / Conduct Local Risk Control – willingness to obtain
  • Current Coal Board Medical Advantageous

Please note drug and alcohol screening will be required ahead of commencing in a position onsite.
