Parkland Gardener
 

  • $48.92 phr plus penalties and Super 
  • Monday to Friday, 3 months -with the possibility of extension
  • Local to Gladstone

What you will be doing:
WorkPac is currently seeking Parkland Gardener for a period of 3 months with the possibility of extension, working Monday to Friday you must be local to Gladstone. You will be responsible for :

  • Assisting and supporting the Supervisor in the management of property and assets located within the GPC
  • Parkland's including the Gladstone Marina and East Shores; 
  • General cleaning, including walkways, paths,  Broad walk and grounds. 
  • Specific cleaning of BBQ’s surrounds and shelters including rubbish collection and removal.
  • Planning daily, weekly and monthly work routines.
  • Recording data and using a computer.
  • Pruning , Mulching, Mowing - using ride-on mower, and fertilising parkland's .
  • Identifying  and controlling weeds, pest and diseases in all parks and gardens.
  • Install, maintain and trouble shoot irrigation systems.
  • Ensuring site preparation and planting and maintenance of landscape projects.

To be successful for this role you will have:

  • Certificate III in Horticulture or the equivalent experience in park maintenance.
  • Certificate III in Swimming Pool and Spa Service or ability to obtain;
  • Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) or ability to obtain;
  • Construction card
  • QLD Driver's License and Own Transport
