Parks and Gardens Labourers
Council is seeking to appoint a two (2) Parks and Gardens Labourers to contribute to Council’s success. One permanent part time position working 36.25 hours per fortnight, days and hours flexible for the preferred candidate and one maximum term full time opportunity for secondment coverage with a projected end date of June 2025.

About the Role
The purpose of this position is to support Council’s direction by undertaking a wide range of maintenance in horticulture, landscape, arboriculture, mowing, playgrounds, public amenities, litter collection, infrastructure and plant operation as part of a multi-disciplined team that is responsible for the maintenance of Council’s parks, reserves and urban streetscapes in accordance to Council’s priorities and standards.

You will bring:
- Labouring skills to carry out maintenance activities on a daily basis.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Sound communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient skills and experience using technical devices.
- Experience and competency operating under a current Medium Rigid (MR) licence.
