Are you passionate about shaping the infrastructure of tomorrow? Our client is seeking an Experienced Projects Planner to join their team at Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Monday to Friday (10-hour days)

  • Max Term Full Time Contract

  • Local to Mackay & Sarina Regions – home every night!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan major projects as outlined in PCSM (Protective Coating and Structural Maintenance) ABP Corrosion Management Plan covering the remediation of the following assets: 

  • Drive Towers

  • Conveyor Systems

  • Surge Bins

  • Jetty & Berth Structure

Develop and deliver comprehensive scope of work for Project Execution Teams including: 

  • Scope sheets development – detailed description of task, risks and critical information to safely execute project

  • Budget development

  • Task execution workflow and tracking sheet (MS Excel)

  • Complex Gantt charts (MS Project)

  • Bill of materials

  • Procurement

  • Liaise with stakeholders

  • Understanding of interactions with between work groups and equipment (Fixed and Mobile)

  • Understanding of DBCT material risks

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • High level understanding of industrial coatings and structural welding

  • DBCT site knowledge is desirable

  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Outlook 

  • Read and understand design drawings

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Focus on safety awareness 

  • Current Drivers Licence

  • Rights to Work in Australia 

  • Work Safely in the Construction Industry Card (White Card)

  • Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
