Are you a Mackay-based Physiotherapist looking for a flexible, well-paid opportunity?
We’re offering a Casual DIDO role providing coverage for annual and personal leave—with travel to two of our high-profile client sites in the Bowen Basin.

This is your chance to step outside the clinic and make a real impact onsite, focusing on injury prevention and management without the pressure of high-volume caseloads. You’ll deliver meaningful, hands-on care and support employees through every step of their recovery journey.

The role at a glance:
  • DIDO from Mackay to the Bowen Basin
  • 8-day swing roster to cover leave
  • Generous hourly rate of $83.12 (including penalties)
  • Deliver services across two client sites—including injury management, health promotion, and workplace safety activities
What you will do:
  • Provide hands-on musculoskeletal physiotherapy
  • Design and manage gym-based rehabilitation programs that promote long-term recovery and self-management
  • Develop and support return-to-work plans
  • Prepare suitable duties programs, conduct risk assessments, and lead toolbox talks to enhance safety
  • Run injury prevention sessions and perform task analyses on-site
Key Logistics:

Here’s what a typical 8-day swing looks like:

  • Tuesday, 8:00 AM: Collect a KINNECT vehicle from our Mackay clinic
  • Travel ~1 hour 40 mins to the first client site in the Bowen Basin
  • Work onsite for 6.5 days with Client 1
  • Drive ~1.5 hours to Client 2 and spend 1.5 days onsite
  • Day 8 (afternoon): Travel back to Mackay (~3-hour drive)

All travel time and expenses are fully covered
You’re paid from start to finish—your hourly rate includes all travel time

  • 15 – 23 July
  • 29 July – 6 August

About you:
  • Registered Physiotherapist with AHPRA
  • Minimum 2 years of musculoskeletal physiotherapy experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to exceptional care
  • Confident in representing the KINNECT brand on client sites
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Willing to complete a pre-employment medical (organised and paid for by KINNECT)
