About the Role
Hastings Deering is on the hunt for a Planning Supervisor to join our team in Mackay. This is a 12-month Fixed Term maternity leave cover, working Monday to Friday in our Paget office.

As a Planning Supervisor at Hastings Deering, you will:

  • Liaise with various internal stakeholders to ensure the team is well resourced for upcoming projects
  • Ensure procedures and processes are in place between business units to ensure projects are delivered on time with minimal issues
  • Overall management of workshop execution plan process, in conjunction with Execution and Projects teams
  • Manage end to end planning, scheduling and PM governance functions
  • Support Service Department in the engagement process of third-party contractors/vendors
  • Managing and reporting on the risks and opportunities
  • Managing and reporting on project costings
  • Review and distribution of Repair and Return estimates
  • Input to tender enquiries in conjunction with sales team

About You
A successful teammate will have experience in:

  • Demonstrated experience in leadership, scheduling and/or planning role.
  • Ability to manage end to end planning, scheduling and PM governance functions
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role within a diversified company
  • Experience within various systems including Microsoft AX, Word, MS Project Online, SharePoint, Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability to provide a very high level of customer service, whilst ensuring customer needs are addressed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Maintain a high level of workplace health and safety.
  • Positive and proactive attitude
