  • Permanent Full Time
  • Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
  • $71,703 per annum (LGIA Stream B Level 5 + Site) + Superannuation
  • Location – Gracemere

Are you experienced in the operation and maintenance of plant in the civil construction industry? Our Rural Operations team are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Plant Operator/Labourer to join their team.

Bring your skills to the forefront in this dynamic role! We're seeking a dedicated professional with experience and tickets to operate a pneumatic-tyred powered road roller (over 8 tonnes) and a front-end loader, along with an unrestricted HR license.

In this role, you'll take charge of operating, servicing, and performing basic maintenance on trucks and a variety of Council's heavy earthmoving equipment, playing a key part in our operations. If you're ready to make an impact and take your expertise to the next level, we want to hear from you!

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

What we are looking for

  •  Extensive experience operating a Road Roller (over 8 tonne), front end loader and unrestricted HR licence or higher.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Safety first attitude.
  • Desirable ticketed and experienced for grader, dozer, water trucks or other plant.

  • Experience and tickets operating a Pneumatic tyred powered road roller (over 8 tonne), front end loader and unrestricted HR Licence.

  • Safety focussed and the ability to identify hazards and risks on the worksite.
